TWO FULLY EQUIPPED APARTMENTSSatellite TV is available in both apartments, with all of the main English terrestrial TV channels as well as a range of other English-language radio and TV channels, together with Portuguese terrestrial TV, and a number of other European satellite channels (from the Hotbird 13 satellite). Each apartment is equipped with either a DVD or VHS player - and a good selection of pre-recorded films. The kitchen has a full range of appliances, including a fridge/freezer, microwave oven, full sized gas cooker with oven and electric grill, electrical kettle, toaster, coffee machine and iron. A hairdryer is also provided, and the apartments each have two free-standing air-conditioning units; wall-mounted "wafer"-style radiators are installed. There is a shared laundry area with washing machine and tumble dryer. On arrival, guests will find a small 'starter' pack of some of the more essential food items and drinks, including water, milk, butter and rolls, and which is supplied with our compliments. |
TRAVEL The nearest airport is Faro, which is around 75-80 minutes drive away (much of the journey being along the A22 motorway). DISTANCES Sagres is around 8km from Vila da Bispo, 15km from Salema, 25km from Praia da Luz, and 30 kms from Lagos. GOLF The nearest golf course is Parque da Floresta, at Budens, approx 15 minutes drive from Sagres along the main N125/N268 towards Lagos. |
Vivenda Saudade
Vivenda Saudade consists of two separate holiday apartments, as well as the private living accommodation of the owners. It is located in in a quiet residential area of Sagres, within a five minute walk of the main street, and a similar distance from Martinhal beach. At the rear of the property is a large sun terrace/courtyard area which is completely private and is for the exclusive use of guests in the two apartments. The terrace also has a barbecue and a covered eating area.
We have a good selection of beach equipment which is available on loan (free of charge!), including sun umbrellas and children's beach toys. We do not provide beach towels, but all other domestic linen is included.
